Hungarian Journal of Minority Studies

The Hungarian Journal of Minority Studies is the annual scientific journal of the Research Institute for Hungarian Communities Abroad, published by the Bethlen Gábor Fund Management, and classified by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences as the category “A”. The primary focus of the journal is the Central and Eastern European region’s ethnic, minority and diaspora issues, but papers concerning other regions will also be taken into consideration for acceptance.

Papers in the journal are normally between 30 000 and 50 000 characters. The references in the submitted papers should comply with the Chicago manual of style’s notes and bibliography format (please use footnotes, not in-text citations).

Submitted papers are peer reviewed after the initial editorial screening. Questions about the journal and paper submissions can be addressed to npki@bgazrt.hu
